What a large Hosta in the Summer!
Then Autumn came with its changing colours!
Time to collect...
..the seeds for next year!

Was a dry start to the day so I was able
to get over to the allotment and get creative!

The Pavilion is starting to take form!
There is an arch in the middle.
The allotment as seen from the bottom of the garden.
Then the weather started to change so I headed home! It's a blustery Saturday!
Get the bread machine going!

Today started out wet!
After the rain and thunder subsided and the
sun came out I checked out the allotment!
I had a few plant roots to plant!
Next year there should be a lot of colour!
I could get 2 metal grids from a neighbour gardener!
This will add form to my pavillion where I'll grow
Scarlet runner beans and other climbers next year!
Autumn is in the backyard!
Most of the Hosta's have faded.
Time to tidy them up and think of a way
to keep the slugs at bay next year!

After such an inspiring, sitting outside enjoying coffee and an apple turnover, sunny blue sky, 10C, no wind, with good company, laughter, in an old village filled with character day yesterday and as I wait for the garden to thaw out this morning, there was ground frost, I had to see what my "Joanne's House"quilt will look like! Still a bit of stitching to do and decoration to add!

We crossed through two provinces to reach Woudrichem.
This village is hosting a Quilt Show! One building has about 200 quilts on display!
There were a lot of beautiful quilts to admire
and ideas to learn!
The quilts hang in different locations including a church!
The Clock Tower is in use also!
The 2 x 6 meter long quilt
Quilts can be fun!
and full of flowers!
and eye catching!

Great idea!
and so complex
I've seen this before but with other colours.
How about this on the wall?
Autumn is in the air today and in the quilt!

Nature as a theme was found throughout the show.
Reminds me of Canada
Always a favorite!
Couldn't leave these owl out!
It was a great quilt show in a great location!
Good Night!

The sun was shining and inspiration came this morning
to get started on the 9th block of the quilt!
While out and about Saturday this caught my eye!
After taking a look in the garden I found a few homes for them!
So Sunday I went and bought a few and brought them home!
