The Netherlands Hosta Society held its annual Hosta study day in Wageningen yesterday. I used pulic transportation and saw a bit of new countyside on this cold sunny winters day in March! One speaker talked about Hosta's DNA and things like L-1, L-2 and L-3. The second speaker was from a nursery that dealt with the high production of Hosta's. Very interesting! Great photo's of Hosta's! It's been far too cold too long here if you heard our reactions to the photo's! After lunch the Annual General meeting took place. Included were the 2010 highlights of the club's planned activities. There is a 3 day bus trip in September! At 4 pm I headed home after an interesting, in a good way, day with the Hosta club. Even bought the T-shirt!
