First block example

Cold today. -3C. Must be a dry cold! No frosty car glass to scrape clean! Colder winter days here than in Vancouver! Sounds like there's not much snow in them there hills!

With no appointments on the calender, enough food in the fridge and not much interest in dressing again in layers to go out in the icy cold I stayed in and started on the first block! Where does the time go? I worked in the living room. If you are ever looking for an active hobby I highly recommend the first steps to quilting! Up the stairs, down the stairs, sorting, choosing, ironing, up the stairs, down the stairs, measuring, cutting, measuring, redesigning, going back and forth between cutting and placing, and, when it's all to your liking, tidying it all up! Bring out the vacuum cleaner! I just have to trace the patterns of the embroidery onto the three blank large rectangles and the three small squares, sew it all together and embroider! Then it's on to block two!
