When's the next one?

Sometimes it's easy to forget that we live close by the River Eem!

On the way back from Soest I cycle up and over the tracks and

then through the Polder. This morning I was strongly reminded!

I then went to the allotment to drop off "one mans junk"!
I set the table and chairs in the
soon to be Pumkin Patch!

Isn't there a Charlie Brown story that has

something to do with a Pumkin Patch?

At home I potted up the Dahlia's!

One of each colour in three pots!

Now, just have to give the pots a "home"!

I'm out of pancake mix! So, I took a trip

to the Windmill in Soest yesterday.

A "Spring is in the air" feeling kind of day!

Then stopped in at Vaarderhoogt Garden Centre.

Gardens are out, more Garden Centre is in!

More room for plants?

It's now at the allotment!

I think a great big Hosta would look great!

Maybe the slugs will stay away?!

One mans junk is another mans treasure!

Lighter earlier! Lighter longer!

Added a thermometer at the allotment this morning.

Will be nice to know how warm the summer days get!
These seeds as well as groceries came home in the rain!

After two days of sunny cold weather spreading

organic( stinky) fertilizer in gardens...

...the warmer weather and rain can now do the work!

Looking forward to smelling lovely results !

Hosta Study Day in Wageningen

Signs of Spring this frosty morning!

Here's one to ponder over!

I thought I would recycle this, give it a new use!

It will soon be filled with plants. But here's the catch:

They'll have to have names of newspapers or magazines!

So far I have Time (thyme) and The Sun (sunflower)!
