Last night the temperature didn't drop below freezing and the coming nights will also be above 0C! Sunday could even see a daytime temperature of 10C! So I thought that this morning would be a great time to get busy in the garden. I pruned the climbing passion flower plants that grow up and over the pergola, treated the terrace to a good cleaning to try and get rid of that green stuff that seems to take over during our darker, less sunny,winter months(they don't seem to get it in the mexican climate!) and then puttered in the front yard.

Hanging baskets and plants in pots are a great way to add colour to areas that don't have a lot of ground space available for planting. Seems to be more inviting too! Don't you just want to sit here and enjoy a cup of coffee at this cafe in Leiden?
