Picked it up at an older farm house in Hooglanderveen,
which is now being "eaten up" by the new build of Vaathorst.
There is still life in this Singer treadle sewing machine.

-4C last night but what a gorgeous morning it was!

Headed out on my bike to do a few errands.

The garden allotments are next to the outdoor ice rink!

Maybe that's why the ground is low and wet! And Frozen
Someone's trying to get a head start!
This "leftover" won't be on anyones dinner plate!

Back home it was a day to putter about indoors!

We stayed in Elspeet this weekend and explored

a small part of National Park The Veluwe.

A Blue Sky Winter Day!

It was a clear and frosty night with a full moon

that was almost blinding very early this morning!

The winter sun hangs low on the horizon
and in the shadows are patches of ice.
A day to walk, drive and bike carefully!
Over doing it with Ikea cappuccino's can cause
sleepless nights but still have good results! Ideas!
I took the train to Hilversum to shop at Xenos!
My quilt's cenre block is almost finished!
It will become a "Quote of the week" block!

Don't have to cut quilt squares anymore!

Ikea has a wall full to choose from!

Stopped by the allotment this afternoon.
Still a wee bit wet to work this land!

No fish and no ducks here!

But it is only January!

There is a whole year ahead of us!Next stop "Kringloop"! Nothing to buy today.

But wait! Isn't this something?

I think this idea will be used to make

a one of a kind Scare Crow for the allotment!

Today they came to insulate the house.
The air space between the outside brick wall
and the inside wall was filled with "wool"
Holes were drilled ...
Then the "wool" was injected into the space.

I'm glad they could work today

as all the plants are still dormant!

A creative Saturday!

Buitenzorg had a info stand at a Scouting event yesterday.
