Saturday 5 September, Weather: Sunshine and Showers!
The first Saturday of September in Baarn is always the Culture Festival. You will find all, or most, volunteer organizations, clubs, groups and local talent! The Bee Keepers, Scouting, School Gardens and Cantons Park just to name a few! I helped out at Groei & Bloei!
Groei & Bloei is not only a magazine but also has activities and readings with guest speakers. The Flower Arranging Circle was also busy at the stall. When someone has had some experience, back ground or lessons in flower arranging and feels that they are reasonably good they can join in and be part of the more advanced Flower Arranging Circle. For the Culture Festival they brought along lots of material to make flower arrangements!
All the ingredients came from the gardens here in Baarn!
It turned out to be a very colourful day!
